We finished up our Mrs. Wishy Washy series, and I thought I’d show you some pictures. If you remember, I said a few weeks ago that the children had many questions about Mrs. Wishy Washy. They really struggled with the idea that she needed to wash the animals all of the time. They didn’t understand how a duck would be swimming in mud-they swim in water. We really just did not like Mrs. Wishy Washy. The animals, yes, the character? Nope. It was interesting to see their opinions solidify over the course of these three weeks. But when it was all said and done, we took a vote (which we do when we finish any book): Would you recommend this book to other Kindergarteners? The answer was 14 yes and 3 no (one friend wasn’t there for the vote). So, while we weren’t too keen on Mrs. Wishy Washy, we did feel most Kindergarteners would enjoy the story.
We did have some fun with Mrs. Wishy Washy:
OH! Lovely Mud!
