We had a great time exploring our 5 sense this Friday. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Kindergarten Science Outcomes: Exploring the World Using Our Senses

1.1: become aware of the five senses

1.2: develop and use vocabulary associated with the five senses

Our five sense are what we use to discover the world around us. We know things are real, we know what they are when we can see, hear, taste, touch, and smell them.

One way we can explain this is through an “experiment” using marshmallows.

We use our sense of sight to look at that marshmallows.

We use our sense of sight to look at the marshmallows.

We use our sense of smell to smell the marshmallows

We use our sense of smell to smell the marshmallows

We use our sense of hearing to listen to the marshmallows

We use our sense of hearing to listen to the marshmallows

We use our sense of touch to feel the marshmallows

We use our sense of touch to feel the marshmallows

And we use our sense of taste to taste the marshmallows.

And we use our sense of taste to taste the marshmallows.

What we learned from the experiment

What we learned from the experiment

And you thought marshmallows were only good for s’mores!
