The first full week of October is upon us! I’m looking forward to it!
Last week, many of us expressed an interest in Octopuses, so beginning this week, we’ll start an exploration of them. Should be lots of fun!
We’re going to stick with the sight words SEE, DO, WE for this week.
In math we will be working on counting in a variety of ways, and recognizing groups of numbers at a glance.
I hope to be able to finish up our Alphabet review this week, then next we will begin focusing on printing our letters.
Since our field trip was rained out on Thursday and Friday, we are going to attempt to go on Wednesday! So, please make sure your child is prepared on Wednesday for a walk in the woods in Victoria Park!
On Thursday student nurses will be at school for a Teddy Bear Clinic. Please have your child bring in a teddy or other soft animal, it should fit into their backpacks. The nurses will treat the animals just like they were a patient at the hospital. It is always a fun day for the kids.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to call or e-mail!
