It’s hard to believe that it’s the last week of September. Where did the time go? And isn’t it funny how the day summer turned to autumn, the temperatures dropped 10 degrees? I guess we can’t deny it any longer… Summer is finally over.
Here’s what is up for this week:
We’re beginning a study of our five senses. There will be some fun activities to go along with this!
In math we will continue to look at different ways to count
In literacy we will continue with our alphabet review. Our sight words are See and Can. We will stick with just these two for another week before we add a new word.
We have been enjoying a weekly nature walk, and I hope to continue with that this week. We usually go sometime on Fridays, depending on our schedule.
On Friday afternoon we will be participating in our schools Terry Fox run/walk. If you are interested in contributing a loonie or a toonie, please do so.
There are a lot of fun things to do this week, I look forward to it!
Some pictures from our week. We really enjoyed experimenting with colour!
Have a great week, and as always, if you have any concerns, please let me know!
